ERISKAY PONY WANTED. We are wanting to document the pack-pony accessible walking routes throughout the Southern Uplands and are looking for a pony that would be capable of accompanying us. Although we have kept riding ponies for over 15 years on our smallholding, we will be learning how to use a pack pony as part of the project. We would be looking for a pony that has an appropriate temperament for this project, and fit enough to manage full days hiking through the hills. We are interested in a loan or to purchase. ERISKAY MARE/FILLY WANTED. I am looking for an Eriskay mare/Filly to join my herd. I currently have one Eriskay mare known as Milly, a Welsh section B called Grace and a Irish Cob called Teddy. I am looking for a friend for Milly as she has been a bit lonely since we lost our friend Goldie a Welsh Cob x last year. I am also looking to breed Eriskay ponies which was my intention with Milly. ERISKAY MARE/FILLY WANTED. To be an all-rounder and to be bred from. Ideally 0-10 years old but would consider older. To live in our small herd as naturally as possible, 24/7 turnout on good grazing in the Highlands. I am really interested in helping to preserve this important native species. I have 10 years of riding and horse care experience and my own cob filly, My mum has 40+ years of experience including handling young horses and stallions.
